Dedicated
to all our Vets
and to my Father
Lt. Leonard Robert Kenney
Nov. 19, 1917 - Sept. 24, 1998
My Dad received a battlefield commision during WWll. He received several awards, which I proudly have in my pocession.  He should also have gotten the pruple heart.... but sadly did not receive it. He was in the 83rd Battalion
I will add more to his story later.
He truly was an Officer and a Gentleman.

Wayne, my first (ex) husband retired from the Air Force. He was in the Air Force Police.
Above is Ken
He spent a lot of years in the Army....  we got to live in Germany and in West Berlin.... both of which were wonderful experiences.
Kimi is my oldest daughter and she also was in the Army. She now works in a hospital and is the mother of a darling little boy ..... AJ.....
The pictures should explain why I am so devoted to our military ..... I was born an Army brat, spent several years as an Air Force dependent and then several more years as an Army dependent. I loved the military life and the people.... We continue to owe our freedom and our way of life to all who have and who do serve our country.
Thank you to each and every one of you.....
I also will soon be adding a POW/MIA page...... and I back all who are still trying to free or help locate all of our military who have never been brought home. There are a lot of unanswered questions and families who are left wondering about loved ones. My wish is that someday they will all be accounted for and returned home where they belong.
John Wayne is singing this song..... he and the song both are great examples of how wonderful our country is.
Come back soon as I will be adding more to this special page......

Above is a photo of Dave a very dear friend who is stationed in Germany at the moment...  It is men like him that we owe our continued freedom and way of life to.
My deepest appreciation to each one of them, and my love to you Dave.
